Way To Go Cameron!
Until yesterday Cam had been sleeping between 3-4 hours a night with an occasionally 5 hours here and there. Well, last night he slept 6.5 hours... Woo Hoo!! I woke up at 2:30 am and realized he had not woken up for a feeding and I panicked. So I rushed to his room and there he was sound asleep. I couldn't sleep so I went to his room again at 3:30 am and he was sound asleep. I got back in bed and all I could think is that I actually wanted him to wake up so I could give him a big hug and kiss and congratulate him for this huge milestone...and also to thank him for giving his parents a good night sleep.

Cameron's Trip To Cajun Country
Over Memorial weekend, we took Cam to Louisiana to meet the rest of his family. He did so great on the car ride over (and back), which was a blessing because Brad and I were so nervous. We had a great visit in Breaux Bridge and Cam even attended his first crawfish boil. I think Cameron passed through about 20 sets of arms while in Breaux Bridge. Later that weekend we went to Lafayette to be with the Bertrand Family. Cam had several visitors again and went through about 10 sets of arms there. It was a wonderful trip and it was very hard to leave.

Settling In
This past week was a big week for Cameron...many new milestones. His cord fell off this past week, so we were able to give him his first bath on Saturday.
He really liked it and even "christened" the water twice. He seemed very content and did enjoy being in the water. His 2 week well baby check-up was also last week.
He grew an entire inch and now weighs 9 lbs 6 ozs (was born 8 lb 2oz). His doctor is very pleased with his weight gain and says he is a healthy baby.
Cameron is doing great. He is sleeping well at night and is allowing his parents 3-4hours of sleep at a time. He absolutely hates to have his diaper changed.
His hair is still blond and we do not know what his eye color is yet.
Mom and dad are doing great too! I think we are finally getting into some sort of routine and every day gets better and better. We are enjoying him so much, even at the 4am feeding. Cameron is so sweet and it makes us so happy when he wakes up and we get to see those beautiful eyes. He is truly amazing.
I am feeling great am thrilled to say I am less than 10 lbs away from my pre-baby weight. Cameron was very generous and I have to thank him
for being gentle on my body...No stretch marks!!!
