Our Little Patient

This past Friday, Cameron had his adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. After several ear infections this past summer, it was time and mommy and daddy were sad. The procedure took 20 minutes and about an hour later, I was summoned to the recovery room to see our little boy. Once we returned to his outpatient room, it didn't take long for Cameron to return to his old self. He was such a good patient and a strong little boy.

Cameron's new word is "Mine"...along with bird, turtle, clock, cracker, moon, star, and boat. He can use "sign language" to indicate more, eat, and milk. Although crying seems to also indicate milk.

His new favorite cartoon is How The Grinch Stole Christmas and we have taught him to say HO HO HO!

Growing, Growing.....Gone!

Cameron is growing too fast. He loves to play outside and enjoys books. If you ask him how old he is, he will hold up one finger. He can do "touchdown", "pat a cake", and also blows kisses. He just got his 7th tooth and it appears the 8th is not far behind. He has also entered the phase of "I am going to cry and wine if I can't do what I want when I want". Cameron will be 18 months next week and this is a bittersweet time for mom and dad.
