As of this post, his room is now pretty much complete. This past weekend, we finalized the room color, bought the paint and painted his room. Of course, with Shasta being preggers, I was left painting alone. At least she put all the outlet covers back on once I was finished. Along with the painting, I changed the blinds and ceiling fan. I started at 9:00 and was totally finished by 6:00 that evening. Gotta say, it was a pretty fun Sunday.
On a side note....the color we ended up choosing was actually one of our least favorites in the beginning(for those following along it was the middle row left).
First I taped....
Then I rolled...
Next is trimming in....
TAA - DAA!!
The only thing left is the final touches.

Paint, look at all the pretty colors
We have come to another crossroads in our journey to parenthood. That is painting the nursery. The question is what color to paint it!?!?! Here is a picture of the room as it is now:
You probably noticed all the color swatched on the wall. In case you wanted to see them close up, here they are:
Shasta is leaning towards the green, but I like the blue, which is perfect for our little boy! I am sure there will be a lot of back and forth before we nail one of these down. We even thought yellow, but had a hard time envisioning our growing son wanting a yellow room in the future.
As soon as we pick a color, we will be sure to post it here. I hope to have a paint color picked by this weekend so that I can get it on the wall. Keep your fingers crossed!!
